From Downtown Lubbock, TX
Start at downtown Lubbock (near Buddy Holly Center).
Head southeast on Avenue J toward Slide Road.
Turn left onto Slide Road, following it southbound.
Continue on Slide Road for about 4 miles until you cross Loop 289.
After crossing Loop 289, watch for the sign to Lubbock Lake Landmark; continue straight onto 126th Street.
Turn left onto Avenue X (you'll pass Lubbock Lake Landmark shortly before the turn).
Drive about 0.5 mile, and 13603 Avenue X will be on your right.
From Southwest, via Loop 289
Get on Loop 289 eastbound if you're starting near South Loop.
Continue east on Loop 289 for approximately 6 miles.
Take the exit for Slide Road (FM 1729) and turn left (northbound).
Drive north on Slide Road for about 2 miles.
Turn right onto Avenue X, passing the Lubbock Lake Landmark visitor center on your left shortly after.
Continue about 0.5 mile, and 13603 Avenue X will be on your right.
